About the Role
Mikano International, Nigeria's premier power and industrial solution provider, is seeking a meticulous Quality Control & Test Drive Officer to join our dynamic automotive workshop team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for verifying the technical quality of every vehicle serviced or repaired before it is released to our valued customers, ensuring total safety, reliability, and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out initial road tests to confirm and reproduce customer complaints recorded on job cards.
- Communicate initial findings clearly with Service Advisors and Job Controllers for accurate diagnosis.
- Inspect every completed job against repair orders and manufacturer standards prior to release.
- Perform comprehensive post-repair road tests on approved test routes to guarantee full rectification.
- Reject and return substandard vehicles to the workshop with clear corrective action notes.
- Escalate recurring or unresolved technical issues directly to the Workshop Manager.
- OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, coupled with formal technical training in automotive service.
- 1 to 2 years of proven hands-on experience as an Automotive Technician within a reputable service center or automotive industry.
- Strong working knowledge of modern automotive systems and mechanical repairs.
- Proficiency in utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
