About the Role
Sales Force Consulting is currently recruiting a dynamic and experienced Quality Control Superintendent for one of our esteemed manufacturing clients in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of product excellence, optimizing operational workflows, and leading a dedicated quality control team to ensure flawless manufacturing outputs.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect incoming raw materials, including plastic resins, colorants, and hardware such as hinges and latches.
- Monitor rotational and injection molding production processes closely to detect and prevent defects.
- Test finished plastic coolers and flasks rigorously for structural strength, thermal retention, and seal integrity.
- Supervise daily activities of the QC team across shifts, ensuring adherence to strict safety and quality protocols.
- Train new inspectors on advanced testing methods, compliance standards, and operational safety.
- Analyze defect data to identify root causes of manufacturing issues and collaborate with production engineers to resolve them.
- Update quality control procedures continuously to improve manufacturing efficiency and minimize waste.
- Maintain comprehensive records of test results, inspections, and prepare daily and monthly reports for upper management.
- B.Eng. or HND in Engineering or relevant Natural Sciences disciplines.
- Minimum of 8 years of practical professional experience, with at least 5 years specifically gained within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership capabilities with a strong ability to manage teams and direct shift schedules independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and robust problem-solving skills to address complex production challenges.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from N200,000 to N300,000.
