Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished medical products including disposable syringes and face masks.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian industrial standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality management systems.
- Identify defects, document quality issues meticulously, and collaborate with production teams to implement immediate corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate quality logs, calibration records, and generate comprehensive daily and weekly inspection reports for management review.
- Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability, minimize waste, and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Science Laboratory Technology, or a related discipline.
- Proven working experience as a Quality Control Officer within a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals or medical devices.
- Deep understanding of Quality Assurance principles, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and standard laboratory testing procedures.
- Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail and proficiency in data recording and reporting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
