About the Role

Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of outsourcing, technical staffing, and consultancy services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Projects Contracts Advisor III to support and lead the implementation of critical project contracting activities. In this role, you will play a pivotal part from early project development phases through to contract close-out, ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage processes, produce deliverables, and update tools to support project contracting strategy, contractor qualification, bid slates, and tender evaluations.
  • Develop detailed Contracting Plans, Invitation to Tender (ITT) packages, and maintain comprehensive correspondence databases.
  • Lead or support negotiations for contested contractual terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with bidder proposals.
  • Provide commercial and pricing analysis to the Project Team and assist in securing senior management approvals for contract awards.
  • Lead internal and external kick-off meetings to ensure full contract awareness, clear change order processes, and claims avoidance.
  • Oversee contract administration, review contractor subcontracting plans, and monitor compliance with invoicing and payment processes.
  • Coordinate change control, manage amendments, and oversee contractor performance measurement through project close-out.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering preferred.
  • Professional certifications from recognized bodies such as ISM (CPM/CPSM), APICS, or PMP.
  • Extensive experience in contracts engineering, administration, and commercial negotiations within the energy sector.
  • Broad understanding of project execution and contracting principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Willingness to travel for business or relocate to domestic and overseas project sites as required.
  • Previous owner/operator experience in project management roles is a distinct advantage.
