About the Role
Agiville Industries Limited is a pioneer in environmental protection and sanitation in Nigeria, dedicated to manufacturing global-standard 120 and 240-litre wheeled waste bins. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to join our dynamic team of skilled technicians and engineers at our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our high manufacturing standards, ensuring that every product meets rigorous quality benchmarks before reaching our clients and communities.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and inspect raw materials, production processes, and finished plastic products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct routine laboratory and physical tests on plastic samples to determine durability, strength, and structural integrity.
- Identify defects, document quality issues, and collaborate with the production team to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality control inspection reports and testing results for management review.
- Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental compliance regulations within the manufacturing plant.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance overall product quality.
- Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related science discipline.
- Proven working experience as a Quality Control Officer within a plastic manufacturing or polymer processing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, testing techniques, and manufacturing standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with production staff and management.
