About the Role

Rainoil Limited is a leading downstream oil marketing company with extensive operations spanning tank farm storage, petroleum product haulage, and bulk retail sales. We are currently looking for a proactive and safety-conscious Fire Safety Assistant / Fire Truck Operator to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the implementation of fire safety procedures, operating fire trucks, and ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with routine fire safety inspections of buildings, equipment, exits, fire doors, and designated emergency routes.
  • Operate and maintain fire trucks and ensure that fire extinguishers, fire alarms, fire hydrants, and hose reels are accessible and in optimal condition.
  • Help identify and report potential fire hazards, including blocked exits, faulty electrical equipment, and unsafe storage of combustible materials.
  • Participate in organizing and executing fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises for employees and visitors.
  • Maintain accurate safety records and promptly report any incidents, hazards, or safety violations to the Fire Safety Officer.
  • Ensure practical adherence to gantry truck earthing procedures during loading and offloading operations.
Qualifications
  • Certification in basic firefighting and first aid operations.
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge of gantry truck earthing procedures and downstream safety protocols.
  • High level of physical agility and stamina required to handle emergency situations and operate fire equipment.
  • Strong commitment to being a team player with the ability to strictly follow safety rules and regulations.
