We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria and uphold our strict commitment to product excellence, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process goods, and finished pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure that all sampling, testing, and product release procedures are conducted strictly in accordance with standard operating procedures and cGMP requirements.
- Prepare, review, and verify comprehensive test reports and Certificates of Analysis while maintaining accurate, audit-ready laboratory documentation.
- Calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot advanced laboratory instruments such as HPLC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, FTIR, and pH meters.
- Investigate out-of-specification results and participate in root cause analysis alongside the quality assurance team.
- Bachelor degree or HND in Pharmacy, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related science discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on quality control laboratory experience within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector.
- Strong working knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and standard pharmacopoeial guidelines.
- Proven ability to operate and maintain sophisticated analytical laboratory equipment including HPLC and UV-Vis spectrophotometers.
