About the Role
Horatio Limited brings extensive industry expertise across commercial real estate, banking, high-end luxury housing, industrial warehouses, and Grade A office developments. We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Control Mechanical professional to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our reputation for excellence by ensuring all mechanical installations meet stringent quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect all mechanical construction and installation activities on-site to ensure compliance with project designs and industry standards.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, material submittals, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) thoroughly.
- Verify incoming materials, installed equipment, and overall workmanship against established quality requirements.
- Coordinate routine inspections, system testing, and mechanical completion activities with relevant project stakeholders.
- Raise non-conformance reports (NCRs) promptly and actively follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven quality control experience in mechanical construction or installation within oil and gas, commercial construction, or industrial projects.
- Deep understanding of piping systems, equipment installation, welding processes, and pressure testing procedures.
- Proficiency in generating detailed inspection reports and managing technical documentation.
- Relevant quality management, inspection, welding, or mechanical inspection certifications will be a strong added advantage.
