Elizabeth Maddeux Limited is recruiting a skilled Quality Control / Assurance Officer on behalf of our manufacturing client in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Monitor daily production processes to ensure strict compliance with established quality specifications and industry benchmarks.
- Investigate quality issues thoroughly and collaborate with production teams to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions.
- Ensure that all rejected or defective polythene and polymer products are properly identified, segregated, and controlled.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date quality inspection records and prepare comprehensive daily and weekly quality reports.
- Support the successful implementation and continuous monitoring of advanced quality control procedures on the factory floor.
- Ensure all manufacturing and production activities strictly comply with company quality standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of production equipment and processing stages from a quality assurance perspective.
- Participate actively in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities to drive continuous operational improvement.
- Possess an OND, HND, or B.Sc. degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven QC/QA experience specifically within polythene, polymer, nylon, plastic, packaging, or related manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated practical hands-on experience working directly with polythene and polymer products.
- Solid understanding of quality control procedures, laboratory testing methods, and modern industrial manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team.
