About the Role
DreamCity Properties is a leading private residential and commercial developer in Nigeria, renowned for delivering contemporary housing projects and exceptional estate developments such as DreamCity Signature Estates. We are currently seeking a skilled Site Engineer - Structural to join our dynamic team and drive the successful implementation of our ambitious construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Explicitly implement project designs and construction work schedules as instructed by project management.
- Ensure strict adherence to approved structural designs and project timelines throughout the construction process.
- Coordinate the daily activities of masons, laborers, and ad-hoc site staff to maintain high productivity.
- Collaborate closely with project supervisors, quality control consultants, and internal teams to meet company standards.
- Implement the company project checklist to guarantee rigorous quality assurance on-site.
- Optimize the utilization of allocated financial resources and construction materials while minimizing on-site waste.
- Possess an HND or Bachelor Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience as a Site Structural Engineer within the Nigerian real estate and construction industry.
- Mandatory professional certification, including COREN, NSE, or equivalent recognized bodies.
- Strong working knowledge of construction practices, project management, and structural quality control.
- Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering designs and technical specifications.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse site teams effectively.
