We are currently seeking a dedicated and analytical Quality Control / Assurance Officer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities- Monitor active production processes closely to guarantee strict compliance with established quality specifications and standards.
- Investigate quality discrepancies promptly, collaborating effectively with production teams to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions.
- Ensure that all rejected or defective products are accurately identified, documented, and properly controlled to prevent distribution.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate quality inspection records while preparing regular, detailed quality reports for management.
- Support the seamless implementation, evaluation, and continuous monitoring of updated quality control procedures.
- Ensure all daily production activities comply fully with company quality policies and applicable regulatory industry requirements.
- Conduct routine, systematic inspections of production equipment and operational processes from a dedicated quality assurance perspective.
- Participate actively in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities to drive continuous operational improvement.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Possess 2 to 4 years of proven, hands-on QC/QA experience within polythene, polymer, nylon, plastic, packaging, or related manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated practical experience and technical knowledge working directly with polythene and polymer products.
- Solid understanding of modern quality control methodologies, laboratory procedures, and industrial manufacturing processes.
- Exceptional analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to solve complex production problems collaboratively.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from NGN 150,000 to NGN 200,000 based on qualifications and experience.
