About the Role
Discovering Talents Academy (DTA) is a premier educational institution offering first-class learning from Preschool to Primary levels using a blended Nigerian, Montessori, and British curriculum. We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in upholding our commitment to academic excellence, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality education, and maintaining operational standards across all school functions while championing our core SHRID niche.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks, policies, and procedures for all academic programs and teaching methodologies.
- Conduct regular classroom observations to assess teaching effectiveness, student engagement, and adherence to individualized teaching approaches.
- Monitor the consistent implementation of Nelson Handwriting, reading programs, skill acquisition initiatives, and correct diction among pupils.
- Review curriculum content and lesson plans to ensure alignment with DTA philosophy, national standards, and the SHRID framework.
- Analyze assessment data to identify academic gaps and inform targeted interventions and professional development needs.
- Conduct regular audits of educational and operational processes to ensure full compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Collaborate with management, the Human Resources Officer, and department heads to prepare comprehensive quality assurance reports and drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor degree in Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in educational quality assurance, school inspection, or senior teaching roles.
- Deep understanding of Montessori and British-Nigerian curricula, pedagogy, and childhood development.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to provide constructive feedback and support professional development for academic staff.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and educational software utilization.
