About the Role
Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited, a renowned leader in the Nigerian healthcare and pharmaceutical industry known for trusted household brands such as Vitaclox, Vitacillin, and Vitamox, is seeking a diligent Quality Assurance Officer. Operating from our ultra-modern manufacturing facility in Ikeja, Lagos, we are committed to delivering safe, high-quality, and affordable pharmaceutical products to the Nigerian market. We are looking for a meticulous professional dedicated to maintaining stringent quality control standards across our production lines.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and inspect daily pharmaceutical manufacturing processes to ensure strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
- Conduct thorough quality audits of raw materials, packaging components, and finished pharmaceutical products before market release.
- Investigate any product non-conformance issues, customer complaints, or deviations, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain accurate documentation, batch records, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in line with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with production, regulatory, and warehouse teams to uphold uncompromising standards of product safety and efficacy.
- Participate in internal and external quality assurance training sessions and regulatory inspection preparations.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a recognized institution.
- Current practicing license and registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical quality assurance principles, quality control laboratory operations, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
