About the Role
FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria PLC, an affiliate of Royal FrieslandCampina, is the world's largest dairy cooperative and a leading multinational manufacturing company in Nigeria. Headquartered in Ikeja, Lagos, with an extensive nationwide distribution network, we are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Manager to join our Customer Supply Chain team.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring uncompromising quality and food safety compliance across logistics, warehousing, distributors, and trade channels. You will drive proactive quality management, lead risk assessments, manage customer support, and spearhead crisis management protocols to ensure our premium dairy products consistently exceed regulatory standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure seamless compliance of customer supply chain and commercial processes with company quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
- Conduct rigorous distributor, warehouse, and market audits to proactively identify risks and minimize product damages, returns, and losses.
- Manage end-to-end complaint handling processes, perform root cause analyses, and implement robust corrective and preventive actions.
- Oversee third-party logistics providers and outsourced warehouses, driving continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead food safety risk assessments for new product developments and commercialization projects.
- Coordinate crisis management preparedness, training, and incident escalation procedures across operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Supply Chain Quality, or FMCG manufacturing.
- Advanced knowledge of HACCP, GMP, Food Safety Management Systems, and quality auditing standards.
- Proven expertise in warehousing, logistics, distributor quality management, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action management.
- Working knowledge of SAP and Power BI is an added advantage.
