About the Role

Ekini White Tulip Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced and dedicated Quality Assurance Lead Pharmacist for a prominent retail pharmacy chain in Lagos. In this critical role, you will provide independent quality oversight across our procurement channels, warehouses, fulfilment centres, and retail storefronts. You will ensure that all pharmaceutical, healthcare, wellness, and cosmetic products strictly adhere to established quality standards and regulatory mandates, safeguarding our customers and upholding our brand's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish, implement, and maintain the company-wide Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) framework, standard operating procedures, and comprehensive quality controls.
  • Oversee rigorous incoming product inspections, supplier quality evaluations, and routine internal quality audits.
  • Ensure total compliance with NAFDAC, Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements.
  • Manage quality incidents, customer product complaints, non-conformities, and drive effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Monitor storage, order fulfilment, and retail-level quality standards to prevent product degradation.
  • Develop detailed quality reports and management dashboards to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing QA/QC team while fostering a robust culture of quality across all business units.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree with a valid, current Pharmacist licence.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, or pharmaceutical quality control.
  • Strong, demonstrable knowledge of NAFDAC regulations, GMP, and GDP guidelines.
  • Proven ability to successfully implement and monitor quality standards across multiple physical locations or business units.
  • Exceptional analytical, root-cause investigation, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
  • Prior working experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, modern retail, or FMCG sectors is strongly preferred.
