About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa’s real economy by building an innovative financial ecosystem for businesses. We are looking for a dedicated Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic product development team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our scalable payment, banking, and credit solutions run seamlessly, securely, and efficiently to meet the high demands of our growing client base.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to understand product requirements, design specifications, and ensure feature testability.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, detailed test plans, and robust test automation frameworks.
- Author thorough functional, integration, and non-functional test cases while executing test scripts and publishing detailed quality reports.
- Track and report critical quality metrics such as defect density, overall test coverage, and open defect counts.
- Design mocks and stubs to facilitate isolated component and end-to-end integration testing.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for quality assurance across cross-functional Agile and Scrum teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Quality Engineering within fast-paced tech environments.
- Strong programming proficiency in Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript with a heavy focus on test automation.
- Extensive experience testing APIs, microservices, mobile native applications, and complex web platforms.
- Proficiency with SQL, NoSQL databases, Linux/Unix environments, and cloud infrastructure such as GCP and Docker.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jira, Postman, Playwright, Selenium, and RestAssured.
