About the Role
Cakasa Maintenance Services Limited (CMSL) is a leading indigenous oil and gas asset maintenance provider in Nigeria. Originally operating as the Maintenance and Products services arm of Cakasa (Nigeria) Company Limited, incorporated in 1974, it officially spun off as an independent specialized corporate entity in July 2021. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced QHSE Supervisor to join our dynamic team and champion our commitment to operational excellence, workplace safety, and rigorous quality assurance across all projects and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Support the implementation and continual improvement of company QHSE and IMS requirements, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Coordinate QHSE activities across projects, workshops, yards, and client locations to ensure strict compliance with approved procedures and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and implement Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection programmes, and risk control measures.
- Conduct inspections, audits, testing, and quality surveillance, managing non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions through effective closure.
- Monitor contractor and supplier quality performance while supporting client, regulatory, and third-party certification audits.
- Prepare comprehensive QHSE reports, analyse performance data, and promote a safety-first, right-first-time delivery culture across all assigned activities.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering, Quality Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive QHSE, QA/QC, HSE, environmental, or IMS experience, preferably within the oil and gas, EPC, construction, or maintenance sectors.
- Minimum of 3 years in a lead or supervisory role coordinating personnel across multiple work fronts.
- Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001; Lead Auditor qualification is a strong advantage.
- Specialized training in incident investigation, root cause analysis, risk assessment, and permit-to-work systems.
- Professional membership in relevant bodies such as IOSH, NISP, IIRSM, ASQ, or COREN is highly advantageous.
