About the Role

iEngineering Group is looking for a dedicated and experienced QHSE Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of our Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 22301) across all company locations and operational sites. Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure full implementation and maintenance of the company's Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Conduct regular internal audits, site inspections, and safety risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with legal and industry standards.
  • Organize safety training programs, safety games, and awareness initiatives to promote a proactive safety culture.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are effectively communicated and documented.
  • Generate comprehensive QHSE reports and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate process efficiency and IMS effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with Group and Local QHSE representatives to update safety instructions, procedures, and policies.
  • Perform travel to company sites up to 80% of the time for inspections, audits, and maintenance of IMS standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, QHSE, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant professional work experience in quality, health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Lead Auditor certification in at least one management system (QMS ISO 9001, EMS ISO 14001, OHSMS ISO 45001, or BCMS ISO 22301).
  • Professional safety certification, preferably NEBOSH.
  • Strong analytical, independent thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to exercise diplomacy and tact.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively across operational sites in Nigeria.
