Key Responsibilities- Assist with test planning, scenario design, and comprehensive test case development.
- Conduct thorough manual testing to identify bugs, defects, and functionality issues.
- Execute test cases accurately and document test results for review.
- Support the development and ongoing maintenance of automated test scripts.
- Perform regression testing following new code changes and product updates.
- Document and maintain QA records, test artifacts, and comprehensive testing reports.
- Log, track, and follow up on identified issues using Jira or other tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to investigate and resolve issues.
- Participate in software development and testing activities within Agile environments.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of overall testing processes and QA practices.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software development processes, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Familiarity with manual software testing principles, test case execution, and documentation.
- Exposure to automated testing tools such as Selenium or JUnit is an advantage.
- Knowledge of issue-tracking systems, particularly Jira, and basic database SQL queries.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts and scripting languages like Python or Java.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with a strong willingness to learn.
