About the Role
IOTA Group, a globally renowned Swiss human resources and technical assistance provider with over 27 years of excellence, is seeking a skilled and dedicated QA/QC Manager / Quantity Surveyor for our operations in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in the successful turnkey extension and upgrade of five existing high-voltage (HV) electrical substations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and financial accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and oversee the Project Quality Management System in compliance with ISO9001 and IEC standards.
- Measure completed works, validate subcontractor quantities, and prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
- Review and enforce Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) across all project phases.
- Witness critical inspections, coordinate audits, and participate in First Of a Kind (FOaK) preparations with the onshore team.
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), and control punch lists.
- Compile comprehensive construction and commissioning dossiers alongside turnover documentation.
- Issue detailed weekly quality reports and maintain meticulous quality records.
- Coordinate control sheets and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) seamlessly with the onshore company team.
- Minimum of 10 years of combined professional experience in QA/QC management and Quantity Surveying specifically within HV electrical substations.
- Thorough knowledge and practical application of ISO9001 standards and IEC regulations.
- Proven expertise in managing construction, commissioning dossiers, and turnover packages.
