About the Role
Myrtle Management Consultants is partnering with clients to deliver operational excellence through flexible deployment models rooted in over 25 years of industry expertise. We are currently looking for a dynamic Contracts, Bid & Tender Lead to head our commercial bidding, tendering, and contract administration processes. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the submission of competitive proposals, maintain rigorous contractual compliance, and effectively manage commercial risks for our operations in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the identification, tracking, and strategic review of Oil & Gas tender and business opportunities.
- Review ITTs, RFQs, RFPs, contracts, and comprehensive tender documentation.
- Coordinate technical, commercial, financial, and administrative inputs across cross-functional teams for winning bids.
- Prepare, manage, and deliver complete bid submissions in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop robust commercial proposals, competitive pricing schedules, and detailed tender documentation.
- Coordinate clarification meetings and manage responses to client queries.
- Review contractual terms, identify potential operational or legal risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support high-stakes contract negotiations with clients, contractors, and key vendors.
- Maintain an accurate database tracking active, submitted, and prospective tenders.
- Monitor contract performance, critical milestones, key deliverables, and contractual obligations.
- Manage variations, extensions, claims, and other complex contractual matters.
- Ensure strict compliance with NUPRC, NCDMB, client mandates, and company policies.
- Prepare detailed tender, contract, and commercial reports for senior management.
- B.Sc. or HND in Business Administration, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, Procurement, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant hands-on experience in Contracts, Commercial Operations, and Bid or Tender Management within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Recognized professional certification in Contract Management, Procurement, or a related field is a distinct advantage.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian Oil & Gas tendering, local content requirements, and contracting processes.
