About the Role

IOTA Group is seeking a skilled Electromechanical / LV Supervisor for a major turnkey project involving the extension and upgrade of five existing high-voltage electrical substations in Nigeria. As a key technical representative on site, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of all low-voltage installation activities in alignment with international standards and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the company on site for all Low Voltage (LV) installation activities, ensuring strict adherence to the Zero Harm safety philosophy.
  • Supervise subcontractors performing LV installation works, monitoring productivity, workmanship, and construction progress.
  • Oversee the installation of LV switchboards, AC and DC distribution boards, UPS systems, battery chargers, batteries, and auxiliary transformers.
  • Supervise the installation and termination of control cables, power cables, cable trays, and conduits in compliance with approved drawings and cable schedules.
  • Verify cable identification, routing, glanding, termination, and continuity while coordinating interfaces with Protection and Control, SCADA, Telecom, and HV primary equipment.
  • Implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), manage punch items, handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and prepare regular progress reports.
  • Support Ready for Commissioning (RFC), energization, and final handover phases.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of proven experience supervising LV installation works on high-voltage substations.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience working on 132-330 kV AIS/GIS EPC projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of LV switchboards, AC/DC auxiliary systems, and complex cable installation processes.
  • Familiarity with IEC standards and industry best practices for electrical construction.
  • Strong subcontractor management and quality assurance skills.
