About the Role
Scruples Resources, a leading consultancy and human resource provider for the Nigerian economy, is looking for a dedicated and meticulous QA/QC Inspector. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out comprehensive quality inspection and verification activities on construction, engineering, fabrication, and maintenance projects. Your expertise will ensure that all materials, workmanship, and completed works strictly comply with approved drawings, industry standards, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct rigorous inspections of construction, fabrication, installation, and maintenance activities against approved procedures.
- Verify that all materials, equipment, and components meet stringent quality requirements and project specifications.
- Review engineering drawings, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and quality documentation.
- Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities, raising appropriate inspection and non-conformance reports.
- Monitor the implementation and close-out of corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate in internal quality audits, surveillance activities, and multidisciplinary project meetings.
- Coordinate seamlessly with construction, engineering, procurement, and client representatives.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, compile quality reports, and support project quality dossiers.
- HND, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent technical qualification in Engineering, Construction, or Quality Management.
- Relevant QA/QC or professional inspection certifications will be a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience in quality inspection within construction, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, ITPs, and technical specifications.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and testing processes in Nigeria.
