We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer II to join our dynamic engineering team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the quality of our fintech products, ensuring seamless transaction processing, and delivering exceptional digital experiences to our growing customer base.
Key Responsibilities- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on complex technical requirements.
- Lead manual and automated testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate critical payment workflows, transaction processing, settlements, and financial reconciliation systems.
- Conduct rigorous API testing and ensure seamless integrations between internal and third-party financial platforms.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards such as PCI-DSS and the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, software developers, and compliance teams in an Agile environment.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects to resolution using modern defect management tools.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of professional quality assurance experience within software engineering and production environments.
- Strong proficiency in both manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, and Cypress.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk-based testing, defect analysis, and financial domain compliance.
- Familiarity with Agile QA methodologies, sprint planning, and collaborative cross-functional workflows.
