About the Role
Adventure Capital Group is a dynamic venture capital investor driving innovation in Nigeria's burgeoning FinTech sector. We are currently seeking a meticulous and analytical QA Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will take ownership of the quality assurance lifecycle for our cutting-edge digital platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, scripts, and scenarios for fintech products, covering functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Test the complete loan lifecycle, credit scoring, KYC workflows, and automated repayment processes to ensure precise financial calculations.
- Perform rigorous payment and transaction testing, validating payment gateways, multi-channel transfers, and ledger reconciliations.
- Conduct API and integration testing using Postman to verify RESTful services, status codes, data security, and third-party integrations.
- Perform POS terminal testing, validating device-to-backend communication, settlements, and transaction reporting.
- Test web and mobile applications across multiple platforms, browsers, and devices to ensure optimal UI/UX responsiveness.
- Identify, document, and track software defects efficiently using Jira while collaborating closely with developers for timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and integrate quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of proven software quality assurance experience, specifically within fintech, banking, lending, or payment platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in manual and automated testing for web, mobile, API, and database environments.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and defect management tools like Jira.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and a passion for financial technology innovation in Nigeria.
