About the Role
The British Council is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical E&E FP&A CoE Insights Senior Analyst to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing financial data preparation, reconciliations, variance analysis, and process consistency support. You will ensure accurate and reliable financial information, strengthen data integrity, and enable our Business Decision Support teams and stakeholders to make informed financial decisions within a leading international cultural relations organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations across SAP, Anaplan, and market datasets to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation, version control, and standardized data repositories while partnering with business teams.
- Prepare standardized financial data packs, extracts, and variance analyses, highlighting key trends and operational anomalies.
- Execute standardised financial processes, reporting frameworks, and data governance standards to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide reconciled datasets to support performance reviews and resolve data discrepancies promptly with finance and systems teams.
- Significant professional experience in financial data analysis, FP&A, management accounting, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience completing complex reconciliations and supporting rigorous monthly reporting cycles.
- Proficiency with EPM platforms such as Anaplan, alongside strong working knowledge of SAP ERP systems.
- Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, and data analytics capabilities, including Power BI and dashboard creation.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to communicate financial data clearly to diverse stakeholders.
