About the Role
At FairMoney, our mobile apps are the gateway for millions to access instant credit and move money seamlessly. When something breaks, it affects real people's financial transactions. As QA Engineer, you'll shape our testing strategy, automation infrastructure, and adoption of AI-powered quality assurance to deliver exceptional mobile experiences at scale.
Key Responsibilities- Own pre-release regression testing and validation for iOS and Android, making final release readiness decisions
- Build, maintain, and evolve our mobile automation suite with CI/CD integration across every release candidate
- Design comprehensive end-to-end test coverage for core user journeys in lending and payments
- Conduct exploratory testing on high-risk scenarios: interrupted flows, dropped connections, and edge-case account states
- Test on real devices including low-end Android phones and poor network conditions
- Leverage AI tooling strategically across the testing cycle: test case generation, automation coding, crash triage, and log analysis
- Diagnose issues independently using adb, logcat, Xcode, and network proxies before escalating
- Write exceptional bug reports with complete context and reproducible steps
- 5+ years specialized mobile QA experience across iOS and Android platforms
- Strong expertise building maintainable automation with Maestro, Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest using Kotlin, Swift, Python, or TypeScript
- Proven CI/CD experience with ability to maintain stable, reliable test suites
- Hands-on experience with AI tooling in QA and judgement to evaluate its effectiveness
- API-level testing capability and fintech/payments domain knowledge preferred
- Excellent written communication and sound judgment under pressure
