About the Role
Footprint Hospitality is a premier bespoke hospitality consultancy dedicated to delivering excellence, exceptional service, and human capacity building. We are currently looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining our high operational standards by efficiently managing the acquisition of goods and services required for our diverse hospitality and leisure projects. Key Responsibilities- Source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with reliable suppliers and vendors to secure the best pricing and quality.
- Manage daily procurement operations, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving supply discrepancies.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative products without compromising quality standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and generate regular purchasing reports for management review.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to understand their operational needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure all procured items comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Purchaser, Procurement Officer, or similar role within the hospitality or service industry.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
