About the Role
CWAY Group is a leading multinational company specializing in the production and wholesale supply of trusted beverages, treated water, and food products across Africa and Asia. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Purchase Supervisor to join our growing procurement team and contribute to our ongoing operational success.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily procurement operations and oversee supplier negotiations to secure the best quality and pricing.
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal departments to forecast inventory needs and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Source and vet new local and international vendors while maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers.
- Translate procurement documents and facilitate clear communication between local teams and Chinese-speaking partners or head office.
- Monitor supply market trends, analyze purchasing costs, and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Ensure all procured materials comply with company standards, regulatory requirements, and safety policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must be fully fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Chinese and English.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
