Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and complex repairs on various types of industrial pumps and related mechanical equipment.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and inspections to identify mechanical faults and prevent potential equipment failures.
- Overhaul pump assemblies, replace worn or damaged parts, and ensure proper alignment and calibration.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory used on-site.
- Adhere strictly to all company and industry safety standards, protocols, and environmental guidelines during operations.
- Collaborate with other engineering and project management team members to minimize equipment downtime and optimize operational efficiency.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven mechanical experience specializing in industrial, construction, or heavy-equipment maintenance.
- Relevant technical certification, trade test, or mechanical engineering diploma from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise in dismantling, repairing, and reassembling centrifugal, positive displacement, and other industrial pumps.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail in diagnosing complex mechanical issues.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, engineering blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced industrial environments across Nigeria.
