About the Role
DESAC Energy Nigeria Limited, a leading indigenous oil and gas, engineering, and industrial construction company based in Warri, Delta State, is seeking experienced and dedicated Pump & Compressor Technicians. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal performance, maintenance, and reliability of various rotating equipment across our operations, supporting our commitment to delivering top-tier energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various types of industrial pumps and compressors.
- Conduct diagnostic testing and inspections to identify mechanical issues, worn parts, and potential equipment failures.
- Overhaul, assemble, and align pumps, compressors, and associated rotating equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Respond promptly to emergency equipment breakdowns in the field or facility to minimize operational downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records for spare parts and tools.
- Adhere strictly to company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures during all maintenance operations.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technical personnel to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Trade Test, or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Proven hands-on experience in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of pumps and compressors within the oil and gas or industrial sector.
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Residency in Warri or willingness to relocate is highly advantageous.
