As a Public Relations Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping public perception, driving impactful communication campaigns, and safeguarding our corporate reputation within the fast-paced Nigerian fintech landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive PR and communications strategies aligned with overarching business priorities and growth objectives.
  • Translate business goals into clear communication campaigns and measurable public relations programmes.
  • Continuously assess public perception, media narratives, and stakeholder sentiment to identify strategic opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Design and execute strategic media engagement plans spanning mainstream, business, broadcast, digital, and industry media.
  • Monitor emerging issues proactively and provide early warnings to prevent potential reputation risks.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, English, or any related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of progressive professional experience in public relations, corporate communications, or reputation management.
  • Demonstrated success in executing high-impact PR campaigns and managing complex crisis situations.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian media landscape, coupled with established relationships with credible journalists and editors.
  • Experience working in financial services, fintech, technology, telecommunications, or other highly regulated sectors is a distinct advantage.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling messages.
