About the Role

Glory Lucas Foundation is on a mission to revolutionize mental health care across Nigeria and Africa at large through targeted initiatives that integrate awareness, advocacy, and access into key sectors such as education, business, agriculture, art, and hospitality. We are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to join our Psychologist Team and help drive sustainable support systems that enhance both mental and economic well-being, fostering lasting change for a more inclusive future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional psychological counseling and support services to individuals and groups across diverse community and corporate settings.
  • Develop and facilitate mental health awareness programs, workshops, and advocacy campaigns tailored to various sectors including education and business.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design sustainable mental health support systems and intervention strategies.
  • Conduct assessments, monitor client progress, and maintain accurate, confidential case records in accordance with professional standards.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at reducing the stigma surrounding mental health in Nigeria.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral science field from a recognized institution.
  • Proven professional experience in psychological counseling, mental health advocacy, or related therapeutic practice.
  • Strong understanding of the mental health landscape and cultural context within Nigeria.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, active listening, and communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic, mission-driven team.
