About the Role
ABNL Limited is a leading 100% indigenous oil and gas servicing company incorporated in 1992, dedicated to providing professional engineering and technical services across Nigeria and the West African sub-region. We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Cost / Schedule / Controls Engineer III to drive our upcoming projects with precision, ensuring optimal financial and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and coordinate cost estimate preparation, estimating oversight, and quality assurance reviews for all gate and funding milestones.
- Prepare comprehensive check estimates and schedules to compare against Operator-prepared submittals for Operated by Others projects.
- Participate actively in project cost and schedule base verifications, estimate assessments, and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain rigorous change control procedures, accurate cost reports, and coordinate monthly progress reports.
- Collaborate closely with project estimators, planners, schedulers, and client accounting teams to meet regulatory and non-regulatory reporting requirements.
- Negotiate and broker successful solutions across internal coordination parties to align project goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive proven experience in a closely related cost engineering, project planning, and project controls role within the oil and gas sector.
- Advanced-level proficiency in cost estimating, project planning, and advanced project controls methodologies.
- Strong influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills.
