About the Role
ABNL Limited, a leading 100% indigenous oil and gas servicing company established in 1992, is seeking a talented and driven Cost Estimating Lead III to join our dynamic projects team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will provide direct oversight for cost estimate preparation, conduct rigorous quality assurance reviews for gate and funding milestones, and coordinate check estimates for operator-prepared submittals. You will act as a key consultant to leadership, driving process efficiencies and ensuring project expenditures align with strategic budgets. Key Responsibilities- Provide direct oversight and supervision for cost estimate preparation and quality assurance reviews across all project gate and funding milestones.
- Coordinate the preparation of check estimates and schedules to rigorously compare with Operated by Others submittals and estimate assessments.
- Collaborate closely with project management teams to resolve project issues and ensure timely delivery of engineering work.
- Participate actively in project meetings and discussions with internal teams, management, and external clients.
- Perform comprehensive monthly project costing reports to ensure all expenditures remain strictly within the approved project budget.
- Offer expert cost control, planning, and consulting advice to the internal project management team as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is strictly required.
- Extensive professional experience in a closely related position, specifically in cost and schedule estimating within the oil and gas or engineering sector.
- Strong technical proficiency in project cost planning, scheduling, and financial reporting.
- Exceptional negotiation, influencing, consulting, mentoring, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
