About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of outsourcing, technical staffing, and project support services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently looking for a dedicated and analytical Projects (Tech) – Cost / Schedule / Controls Engineer / Specialist III to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that major engineering and construction projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with global best practices and quality management standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and coordinate cost estimate preparation, estimating oversight, and quality assurance reviews for all gate and funding milestones.
- Prepare comprehensive check estimates and schedules to compare against Operator-prepared submittals for Operated by Others projects.
- Participate actively in estimate and schedule assessments to verify project cost and schedule bases.
- Maintain rigorous change control processes, generate accurate cost reports, and collaborate closely with project estimators, planners, and schedulers.
- Coordinate and assemble monthly progress reports while working alongside client project managers and accounting staff for regulatory reporting.
- Drive process efficiency tools and contribute to continuous quality assurance review process improvements within the estimating group.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated previous experience in a closely related cost engineering or project controls position within the energy sector.
- Advanced level proficiency in Cost Estimating, Project Planning, and Project Controls.
- Strong influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, computing, and negotiation skills.
