We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Contracts Advisor III to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee complex contracting strategies, manage commercial negotiations, and ensure seamless contract administration for major energy projects. Key Responsibilities- Manage processes and produce deliverables for project contracting strategies, contractor qualifications, bid slates, and proposal evaluations.
- Develop detailed Contracting Plans, Invitation to Tender (ITT) packages, and maintain comprehensive correspondence databases.
- Lead or support negotiations of contested contractual terms and conditions while conforming all contract documents to final agreements.
- Provide critical commercial and pricing analysis to project teams to support award recommendations and senior management approvals.
- Lead internal and external kick-off meetings to ensure contractual awareness, compliance, and effective change-order processes.
- Oversee contract administration, contractor subcontracting activities, and monitor compliance with invoicing and payment processes.
- Measure contractor performance, manage change control logs, and develop comprehensive Contract Close Out Plans.
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering preferred; extensive experience in Contracts Engineering and Administration required.
- Proven expertise in commercial negotiations, contractor management, and comprehensive contract administration.
- Broad understanding of project execution principles, theories, and concepts within the oil and gas sector.
- Professional certifications from recognized bodies such as ISM (CPM/CPSM), APICS, or PMP are highly advantageous.
- Willingness to undertake business travel or relocate to domestic and overseas project sites as required.
- Demonstrated owner/operator experience in project management roles will be a distinct advantage.
