About the Role
ABNL Limited, a leading 100% indigenous oil and gas servicing company in Nigeria, is seeking a skilled Cost Estimating Lead III to join our dynamic Projects (Tech) team. In this pivotal role, you will provide direct oversight and supervision for cost estimate preparation and quality assurance reviews for company-operated and partner-operated projects across all gate and funding milestones.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise cost estimate preparation and quality assurance reviews for all project milestones.
- Prepare and coordinate check estimates and schedules to compare against Operator-prepared submittals and assessments.
- Provide leadership and strategic consulting on process efficiency tools and quality assurance improvements within the estimating group.
- Collaborate closely with the project management team (PMT) to resolve complex project issues and ensure timely delivery.
- Attend critical project meetings and technical discussions with internal teams and external clients.
- Deliver comprehensive monthly project costing reports to management to ensure expenditures align with approved budgets.
- Offer expert cost control and planning advice to internal teams as required.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
- Extensive professional experience in cost and schedule estimating within the oil and gas or engineering sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in project cost planning, scheduling, and financial reporting.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, consulting, and mentoring capabilities.
