About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of technical staffing, inspection, and consultancy services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently looking for a skilled Cost Estimating Lead III to join our dynamic projects team. In this pivotal role, you will provide direct oversight and supervision for cost estimate preparation and quality assurance reviews for company-operated and builder-operator estimates across all gate and funding milestones. You will also coordinate the preparation of check estimates and schedules to compare with operator-prepared submittals, while providing vital leadership to improve estimating group processes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise cost estimate preparation and quality assurance reviews for all gate and funding milestones.
- Coordinate the preparation of check estimates and schedules to evaluate operator-prepared submittals and project cost bases.
- Work closely with the project management team (PMT) to resolve project issues and ensure timely delivery.
- Attend project meetings and discussions with internal teams and external clients.
- Perform monthly project costing and reporting to ensure expenditures remain within the approved project budget.
- Provide expert cost control, planning, and scheduling advice to the internal PMT team as required.
- Offer leadership and consulting to improve estimating group process efficiency tools and QA review procedures.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering is strictly required.
- Extensive professional experience in a closely related position focusing on cost and schedule estimating.
- Technically strong in project cost planning, scheduling, reporting, and cost control.
- Strong influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills.
