About the Role
Structured Energy Systems Limited is a wholly owned Nigerian business-to-business services company specializing in the deployment of ATM and self-service terminals, system servers, eSecurity devices, and robust back-up power solutions. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Engineer - Renewable Energy to strategically drive our technical engineering business, oversee daily operations, and deliver cost-effective infrastructure solutions to our esteemed clients across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the end-to-end life cycle of all technical projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and high engineering standards.
- Design, manage, and troubleshoot AC and DC power systems including rectifiers, inverters, UPS, AVR, ATS, panels, diesel generators, and transformers.
- Deploy alternative and renewable energy technologies such as solar and wind power solutions.
- Manage, mentor, and evaluate multiple technical teams and field engineers while fostering professional growth and high performance.
- Liaise with management, sales, and marketing teams to interpret client requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
- Develop and implement safety guidelines, standard operating procedures, and risk management protocols across the technical department.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly progress reports, conduct feasibility studies, and manage project expenditures effectively.
- Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- 7 to 10 years of professional experience in electrical and electronic engineering, solar design and installations, with a strong background in the banking or telecommunications sector.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with at least 5 years in team leadership, stakeholder management, and technical supervision.
- In-depth expertise in power systems, alternative energy technologies, and CRM systems.
- HSE knowledge/certification and professional certifications in alternative power solutions are distinct advantages.
