Plantation Industries Limited, a leading cocoa processing factory situated in the heart of Nigeria's cocoa-growing belt in Akure, Ondo State, is seeking a diligent Accounts & Finance Professional - Compliance. As an offshoot of Agro Traders Limited, a premier exporter of cocoa beans, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of operational excellence and international quality. We are looking for a dedicated finance expert to join our structured organization and contribute to our robust financial compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure strict compliance with local financial regulations, statutory requirements, and internal corporate governance policies.
- Monitor and review financial transactions, accounting processes, and internal controls to mitigate operational and financial risks.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate seamless financial and compliance audits.
- Manage accurate financial reporting and maintain comprehensive documentation for all financial operations.
- Utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and advanced Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and generate insightful reports.
- Work independently and cross-functionally to support the finance department in achieving organizational goals.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Must possess a relevant professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, CIA, CISA, or CRMA.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in finance, accounting, or compliance roles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated high integrity, ethical standards, and sound professional judgment.
- Proficiency in accounting systems, ERP software, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
