About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI), a leading HR and Management Consultancy solutions provider, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project / Site Surveyor to join our dynamic construction team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring all building and civil works are executed accurately to specification.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain site survey control points, benchmarks, and reference grids for construction projects.
- Perform precise site setting-out for building foundations, columns, walls, roads, and drainage systems.
- Monitor site levels, elevations, slopes, and structural verticality throughout various construction stages.
- Interpret architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings to translate design data into site requirements.
- Operate and maintain advanced survey equipment including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, and digital levels.
- Conduct as-built surveys and prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and project survey reports.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Architects, and Quantity Surveyors.
- Supervise and mentor junior survey staff while ensuring strict compliance with health and safety standards.
- BSc or HND in Surveying, Surveying and Geoinformatics, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
- Professional registration with the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON) is a strong advantage.
- 5 to 8 years of proven experience in construction surveying on building and civil engineering projects.
- Strong expertise in setting-out, levelling, coordinates, and construction monitoring.
- Proficiency in using modern surveying instruments such as Total Stations and GPS/GNSS equipment.
