About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI), a premier HR and Management Consultancy solutions provider, is seeking a meticulous and results-driven Storekeeper for our client in the hospitality sector. In this role, you will oversee all inventory operations, ensuring efficient supply chain management and strict adherence to stock control policies within the hotel.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify all delivered goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices for quality, quantity, and expiry dates.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all stock movements using stock cards, bin cards, and inventory software.
- Implement First-In, First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO) principles to manage perishables and prevent spoilage.
- Issue supplies exclusively to authorized personnel based on approved requisitions while preventing waste and pilferage.
- Conduct routine physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with the accounts and procurement departments.
- Ensure storage areas remain clean, secure, properly ventilated, and compliant with safety and hygiene standards.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.
- OND or HND in Purchasing and Supply, Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations, or inventory control, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic inventory management software.
- Exceptional numerical accuracy, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
