About the Role
Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited is a prominent independent Nigerian energy firm operating at the forefront of the nation's oil and gas sector. We are currently seeking a dynamic and seasoned Project Services Engineer to drive the delivery and integration of comprehensive project services activities, enabling effective execution and strategic decision-making across our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Support the full suite of Project Services activities, including estimating, cost engineering, planning, risk management, and benchmarking for pre-DG3 and post-DG3 projects.
- Collaborate with project leadership to establish, implement, and monitor robust project controls processes, systems, and plans.
- Provide accurate monthly reports covering progress updates, forecast completions, critical path analysis, and trend evaluations for cost, schedule, and risk.
- Incorporate project complexity factors, local procurement requirements, and carbon reduction strategies into project planning.
- Develop contract pricing instructions, evaluate bids, and apply probabilistic techniques to determine cost and schedule outcome ranges.
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior project services engineers to foster continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of extensive experience within the oil and gas industry.
- At least 5 years of dedicated project experience with substantial responsibility for managing Project Services or Project Engineering scopes on post-DG3 projects.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with proven success in managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams in complex environments.
- Strong core competencies in Project Services Management, cost estimating, planning, risk management, and local contracting requirements.
