About the Role
Emmix Global Limited is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Maintenance Officer to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our production machinery, equipment, electrical systems, and facilities remain safe, functional, and fully operational with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine inspection, servicing, and preventive maintenance of production machinery and workshop equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults quickly and execute effective repairs to minimize downtime.
- Inspect electrical connections, lighting, power systems, and general facility infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities, repairs, servicing schedules, and replacement parts.
- Ensure strict adherence to workplace health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and hazard-free workspace.
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing, woodworking, or industrial environment.
- Strong practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to respond swiftly to operational emergencies.
