About the Role
Emmix Global Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our dynamic production team and support the fabrication of metal components and structures used in our premium furniture products. The successful candidate will produce strong, accurate, and clean welds while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform welding and fabrication of metal furniture frames, bases, brackets, and structural supports.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and fabrication specifications.
- Cut, shape, drill, and prepare metal materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
- Set up and operate MIG, TIG, arc/MMA welding machines and related fabrication tools.
- Grind, smooth, and clean welded surfaces to achieve a flawless finish.
- Inspect completed welds for strength, alignment, and overall quality.
- Maintain workshop equipment and ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
- 2 to 5 years of proven professional experience as a Welder or Metal Fabricator.
- Prior experience in furniture manufacturing, metal fabrication, or construction industries is highly preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and align metal components using hand and power tools.
- Solid understanding of workshop safety protocols and proper PPE usage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet daily and weekly production deadlines.
