About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a dedicated and analytical Project Planner to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our construction and infrastructure projects are meticulously planned, effectively monitored, and successfully executed on schedule. You will work closely with site engineers, quantity surveyors, and the Project Management Office to maintain precise project controls and deliver actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive project programs, schedules, and operational plans.
- Monitor daily site activities to record actual progress accurately against baseline plans.
- Prepare concise daily and weekly site progress reports highlighting key deliverables and milestones.
- Track critical project activities, identify potential delays, and flag program risks to management.
- Collect, verify, and consolidate progress data from site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Maintain meticulously organized project control records, schedules, and reporting documentation.
- Collaborate with the Project Management Office to ensure standardized planning and execution.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Building, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong working proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and general office software.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret construction drawings, work sequences, and project schedules.
- Familiarity with construction planning, project controls, and basic delay analysis methodologies.
- Prior working knowledge of Primavera is considered a distinct added advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
