About the Role
Ikore International Development Limited is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to provide strategic oversight and day-to-day operational leadership for our upcoming advocacy project across target states in Nigeria. In this role, you will coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, drive policy and institutional change, and foster impactful partnerships with government bodies, private sector stakeholders, and farmer organizations to achieve sustainable agricultural development.
Key Responsibilities- Translate high-level project objectives into actionable annual workplans, roadmaps, and delivery scopes.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and state-level implementation partners to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Establish adaptive management systems to navigate changing environments, emerging opportunities, and policy advocacy goals.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement with government institutions, private sector actors, and farmer organizations.
- Monitor programme performance against approved indicators, manage operational risks, and oversee financial compliance with the Finance Manager.
- Master degree in Project Management, Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience managing complex, multi-state development programmes in Nigeria.
- Professional project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is a strong advantage.
- Proven expertise in stakeholder coordination, advocacy, agricultural market systems, and donor-funded project management.
