About the Role
The Youth and Women Peacebuilding Foundation (YAWP Foundation) is seeking a dedicated and motivated Volunteer Program Manager to spearhead our peacebuilding, humanitarian, and community development initiatives in Nigeria. In this role, you will oversee project lifecycles, lead resource mobilization, and empower vulnerable groups including youth and women to achieve economic self-reliance and social cohesion.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning, implementation, coordination, and monitoring of projects across YAWP’s thematic sectors.
- Drive proposal development, concept note writing, donor mapping, and fundraising initiatives.
- Ensure robust integration of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) systems across all programs.
- Represent YAWP Foundation in sector coordination meetings, technical working groups, and stakeholder engagements.
- Supervise, mentor, and build the capacity of program staff and volunteers while mainstreaming gender, inclusion, and conflict sensitivity.
- A minimum of an HND, BSc, or MSc in Social Work, Sociology, Gender Studies, Community Development, International Development, or a related field.
- At least 2 to 3 years of proven experience in program coordination, project management, or a similar role within the non-profit sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in project planning, budget management, and team leadership.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and strategic thinking abilities with proficiency in digital collaboration tools.
