About the Role
1StepAhead Consulting is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to manage the end-to-end delivery of interior design projects. In this role, you will ensure projects are executed seamlessly from planning and client engagement to site supervision and final handover, maintaining the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate possesses robust experience managing luxury residential or commercial interior design projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and consistently delivering results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning and execution of interior design projects from concept through completion.
- Coordinate designers, contractors, artisans, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the project team, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, enforce quality standards, and resolve challenges promptly.
- Manage procurement processes to ensure materials and services match project specifications.
- Prepare detailed progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of professional project management experience in interior design, construction, or architecture.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage diverse stakeholder expectations.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, financial budgeting, and site execution.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP certification and familiarity with tools like MS Project or Asana are strong advantages.
